Just had to share!

Today Cayden dressed up as The Wizard of Oz as the preps 1’s and 2’s are having a fairy tale ball.  They all looked SO CUTE!  I don’t know how many princesses and pirates there were, it seemed every second one was one of them!

Had to share how sweet he looked!

    

Th kids were asked to bring a plate of food for their ball.  I baked some cup cakes in square ice cream cones and then iced them with royal icing and sprinkles and some flowers.  I thought they were really cute!  I can see some christmas presents being made up similar to this!

Cupcakes

Makes 40 small cakes. 



Preheat oven to 180c 



225g soft butter
225g caster sugar 

5 eggs 

275g self raising flour 

half tsp baking powder 

1 tbsp milk 



Place all ingredients in a bowl and beat for 1-2 mins, or until evenly blended.

Bake in paper patty cases or mini muffing pans. Spoon the mixture into the prepared pans and bake for 15-25 mins, or until well-risen and golden. 


Decorate as required with butter icing, butter cream icing, glace icing etc. 


Coming up for air!

Wow, what a whirl wind couple of weeks it’s been.  We are just about packed, we are living off the bare minimum of clothes and most of our “stuff” is packed.

We went out yesterday afternoon and bought a few new items that we’ve been wanting to get, but this house was too small.  We will on Saturday night have a new king size bed…woohoo, no more kicks to tell me to move over or that “Emma has more room then me”.  We also purchased a new lounge suite and TV for the rumpus room.  Darren’s pretty happy about that!

Will see you all on the other side of the move!

SOLD!

Yes, that’s right, the house is sold AND before auction AND at a brilliant price!  We are over the moon.

So in the space of a month, we’ve sold the house and found a new house to rent for the next 12 months.  We have a move in date for the new house of 1st November…so 3 weeks.  We are moving to Wyndham Waters to a rental there and we will only be a hop skip and jump away from our block of land.

So I have a heap of packing to do now in 3 weeks i have to pack up 13 years of our life here!  So if I’m not around much, thats why.
